Hangover Hamburgers
This quick burger recipe hits the spot! Pair with your favorite GF buns or bread.. or enjoy it animal style!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 10 slices Bacon
- 1 tbsp Gluten free worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 1/3 cup Gluten free panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
Instructions
Cook the 10 slices of bacon in a skillet over medium-ish heat (9 for the burgers and 1 for you to eat as your "chef-tax"). While that's cooking, mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. "They" say not to over-mix it, but mix it up to your heart's content! Shape them into cute hamburger patties a little larger than your bread/bun size. To prevent the inevitable shrink, put a dimple in the center of each patty. Yup.
After the bacon is done cooking, remove those and put 1-2 patties in the hot grease. Cook 3-5 minutes a side. You want to see some color and crust on the outside of the patty. I don't squish the burger while it's cooking. Why would anyone squish out the juices?!
While the burgers are cooking, prep your bread product. A light toasting? IDK/IDC. You do you, boo.
Also, prep whatever veggies you want.
On the last flip of the burger patty, throw some cheese on there. Remove the finished patty from heat like a gangsta. Rinse/repeat until all your patties are cooked.
When done, ring that dinner bell (quietly, people have hangovers after all).
👨🍳 Paul's Notes
You can cook the burger on the grill, but the grease is what gives this burger its flavor and hangover-bust-ability. I cook bacon slices first and use that grease for the burgers.
